How To Increase Visitors Through Traffic Exchanges

It is not always easy to get new visitors to your website if you are just starting out. It becomes even more difficult if you do not have a big advertising budget. Traffic exchanges offer a way for webmasters to get traffic to their sites without having to spend an arm and a leg. You can also avoid having to spend hours clicking away to get credits.

To put it simply, a Traffic Exchange website allows its members to view the websites of other members. In return, their website also receives views. Each time you visit another person’s website for a given period of time, your credits increase. When another person views your website for a given period of time, your credit balance then begins to decrease.

There are two different types of traffic exchanges. Some are auto, while the others are manual. Manual exchanges require that a human being be present to view the web page and click on the link. An auto exchange, on the other hand, can just be left running on your web browser for as long as you like.

While both of these methods will bring more traffic to your website, the manual exchange is more likely to be effective. You have a much higher chance of someone actually reading what is on your website. Auto exchanges are better for those who leave their computers on all night. These individuals are not likely to buy your product as they are probably sleeping while their program is running.

The question then remains: How do you find the right traffic exchange network?

Credits: Nearly all traffic exchanges use a credits system. You earn credits for viewing other member’s pages. Some also offer bonuses.

Minimum Time Requirement: There are many exchange sites that require you spend a certain amount of time on a website before you can earn a credit.
